We’re Paul and Wenda, a semi-retired couple with an endless passion for adventure and exploring Australia. Since 2020, we’ve been travelling full-time in our 23’ Evernew caravan, discovering incredible places and sharing them through our YouTube channel, social media, and now — our biggest adventure yet — Beyond the Grey OZ Tag-Along Road Trips.

What started as a way to document our travels and inspire others has grown into a business we love. Our Tag-Along Road Trips combine our experience on the road with our love of people, helping others explore Australia with confidence, connection, and a little extra comfort. It’s more than just work — it’s our passion and one of the most rewarding parts of our lifestyle.

Through Beyond the Grey OZ, we aim to provide fellow travellers with honest, practical information — from tried-and-tested travel itineraries to the products and accessories we rely on. We show that travelling in style and comfort is possible at any stage of life, especially for empty nesters and those approaching retirement with curiosity and energy.

We regularly review gear and products that have made our travels easier and more enjoyable — but we only recommend what we personally use and trust. We’re big believers in supporting high-quality, often locally made products, because we know that the right gear can make a good trip great.

Although life on the road is our home, we still work part-time:

With family spread along Australia’s East Coast, this lifestyle gives us the best of both worlds — quality time with loved ones and the freedom to set off on our next adventure.
