A caravan is one of the biggest purchases we have ever made and one we wanted to get right. As we were going to be living in our caravan we knew it had to meet a few critical criteria. It had to be big enough that we could have separate space, we wanted it to be a home and have all the conveniences you would expect in a home. We also wanted a van that could handle some of the roughest conditions outback Australia presents. After months of research we settled on an Evernew 23' RT1000. Our van has a separate bedroom, separate toilet and separate shower, a 4.5kg front loader washing machine, 220 lt compressor fridge, diesel heating, air conditioner, Cruisemaster Independent suspension and so much more. At a little under 3000kg this van has been able to cope with everything we have asked of it. After four years living in our van there is virtually nothing we would change!
